Welcome to the new WKES website!

2012 brings with it a new site for the school!
Have a look around and see what you think.

There is a handy "How to Use This Site" guide at the top of the right-hand side menu which explains some of the unique features of the site, such as how to navigate the site and how to use the calendar feature.

Please keep in mind that this site is a work-in-progress; any feedback is always welcome (you can even use the contact form on the Contact Us page)!

Thanks for visiting the site!

We are looking for a few more volunteers to help with serving the lunches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  If you are willing to volunteer please contact Maureen Wickwire 479-0416 or mwickwire@eastlink.ca

Dressing Appropriately

Now that the colder weather is upon us we ask that you please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Students will be outside each day unless the weather is severely inclement.

New Playground Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

After much anticipation our new playground is ready. What a fantastic addition to our school!  A big thank you to the playground committee for their time and dedication in making WKES an even better place to learn and play.

The ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for December was postponed due to poor weather and will be rescheduled in the spring.
